Agriculture Specialist – Hoima

About the role

Twiga Chemical Industries is seeking a full‑time Agriculture Specialist to work on‑site in Hoima. The role focuses on boosting agricultural productivity by distributing and promoting crop‑protection solutions, providing technical advice to farmers, and supporting sales activities.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver technical advice and recommendations to farmers on crop protection and agronomic practices.
• Conduct regular field visits to assess crop performance and gather feedback.
• Analyze crop data to identify issues and propose solutions.
• Promote and distribute Twiga’s agro‑chemical products to existing and new clients.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with farmers, retailers, and other stakeholders.
• Generate sales leads, achieve sales targets, and keep accurate records of agricultural activities.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of agriculture and agricultural production.
• Excellent communication skills for engaging with farmers and clients.
• Analytical ability to assess crop performance and develop solutions.
• Proven experience or aptitude in sales of agricultural or agro‑chemical products.
• Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Agronomy, or a related field.
• Ability to work independently and conduct on‑site field visits.
• Previous experience in the agro‑chemical or agricultural sector is an advantage.
