About the role
SMARTEC ELECTRONICS LTD is hiring a Compressor Placement Operator in Kampala (Kamwokya). The operator places compressors into the production line according to the production orders and work instructions, checking models and keeping the station tidy.
Key responsibilities
- Select the compressor model that matches the production order and work instruction.
- Check the model labels (letters and numbers) against the production schedule before placing each compressor.
- Place compressors into the compressor bin in the correct position and orientation.
- Handle compressors carefully and report any damaged or mislabelled units.
- Alert the Line Leader immediately about model mismatches or shortages.
- Keep the station tidy and use safe lifting techniques.
