Digital Marketing Manager

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Digital Marketing Manager to lead our international growth initiatives for a telecommunications business based in Kampala. You will design and execute data‑driven digital campaigns that acquire new subscribers, boost SIM/eSIM sales and increase digital revenue across multiple markets.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement a digital marketing strategy tailored to each country, segment and competitive landscape.
• Own the full acquisition funnel – from awareness and traffic generation to purchase, activation and onboarding.
• Lead paid acquisition across Google Ads, Meta, TikTok, YouTube, display, programmatic, affiliate and influencer channels.
• Manage sizable digital budgets, optimise spend and continuously improve CAC, CPA, ROAS and conversion rates.
• Run A/B tests on creative, pricing, landing pages and customer journeys.
• Increase online SIM/eSIM sales through website and app optimisation, reducing friction in checkout, KYC and payment processes.
• Collaborate with Commercial, Sales, Product and Technology teams to align campaigns with business goals.

Required profile

• Proven track record of driving subscriber and revenue growth in an MNO, MVNO or related telecom environment.
• Experience managing multi‑country digital campaigns and launching new mobile products.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate commercial objectives into measurable acquisition plans.
