Dispatch Clerk

About the role

The Dispatch Clerk will work in the Warehouse & Logistics department to accurately pick and issue tiles and sanitary ware according to approved requests. The role ensures product integrity, maintains precise stock records, and supports smooth order fulfillment.

Key responsibilities

• Receive and verify stock requests, picking lists and delivery orders.
• Pick and issue the correct product codes, quantities and specifications.
• Inspect tiles and sanitary ware for damage before issuing.
• Document all issued products accurately.
• Handle fragile items carefully to minimise breakage and ensure proper packing.
• Report damaged or defective items prior to dispatch.
• Record issued stock promptly and reconcile discrepancies.
• Assist with stock counts and inventory reconciliation.
• Coordinate with documentation, receiving, transport and other departments to complete required paperwork.
• Follow safety procedures, use PPE and maintain a tidy issuing area.

Required profile

• Certificate or Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Warehouse Operations or related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in warehouse operations, stock issuing or inventory control.
• Experience handling tiles, sanitary ware or building materials is an advantage.
• Basic computer skills.
