Reach Truck Operator

About the role

The Reach Truck Operator will safely operate a reach truck to load, unload and move goods within the warehouse. The role focuses on accurate stock handling, adherence to safety procedures and efficient use of warehouse space.

Key responsibilities

• Load and unload goods from delivery vehicles using a reach truck.
• Arrange stocks in designated areas following stacking procedures and space‑optimization guidelines.
• Operate the reach truck in compliance with safety regulations and equipment‑handling standards.
• Move stocks as instructed by supervisors, ensuring correct quantities and locations.
• Maintain a clean, hazard‑free warehouse zone.
• Keep the reach‑truck operation licence up to date and participate in skill‑enhancement activities.
• Adhere to all safety procedures to maintain a safe working environment.

Required profile

• Certificate or diploma in supply‑chain or a related field.
• Valid reach‑truck operation licence.
• Good physical condition and hand‑eye coordination.
• Mathematical aptitude and attention to detail.
• Strong organizational abilities and good written and verbal communication.
