Insurance Sales Agent – Kampala

About the role

The Insurance Sales Agent is a full‑time, on‑site position based in Kampala. The role focuses on generating new business, nurturing existing client relationships, and guiding customers through the insurance sales process.

Key responsibilities

• Identify prospects, conduct sales meetings and follow up leads to close deals.
• Understand client needs and propose suitable insurance packages.
• Handle customer inquiries, provide detailed product information and support clients throughout the sales cycle.
• Maintain accurate sales records, meet performance targets and collaborate with colleagues to improve processes.
• Ensure a smooth handover of closed deals to service delivery teams.

Required profile

• Strong communication and customer‑service skills.
• Proven sales abilities, including prospecting, negotiation and closing in a target‑driven environment.
• Basic understanding of insurance products and the capacity to explain complex offerings simply.
• Prior experience in sales, advertising or digital marketing is highly beneficial.

Required skills

• Proficiency with common office software (e.g., Microsoft Office).
• Experience using basic CRM tools.
