About the role
The College of Health Sciences at Makerere University is seeking a diligent Laboratory Assistant to support its teaching laboratories. This entry‑level position offers the opportunity to work closely with students and faculty in a dynamic academic environment.
Key responsibilities
- Clean and organize laboratory equipment and facilities to maintain a safe working environment.
- Implement safety guidelines and regulations in the laboratory.
- Assist in preparing practical sessions for students, including setting up experiments and materials.
- Maintain accurate records of consumables and materials used in the lab.
- Perform any other related duties assigned by the supervisor.
Required profile
- Certificate in Medical Laboratory Technology.
- No prior work experience required.
