Logistics Manager – Supply Chain Operations

About the role

The Logistics Manager will lead all supply‑chain activities for Rustic Organic Seeds Farms Ltd, ensuring the efficient movement of chia and sesame seeds from farm to international markets. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will oversee transportation, warehousing, inventory control and export logistics while maintaining compliance and cost effectiveness.

Key responsibilities

• Manage inbound, outbound, domestic and international transportation, selecting and negotiating with carriers, freight forwarders and customs agents.
• Optimize freight routing, load planning and consolidation to reduce costs and improve lead times.
• Ensure full compliance with customs, export regulations and trade documentation, including container booking, VGM, SI submission and bill of lading approvals.
• Oversee warehouse operations – receiving, storage, picking, dispatch and loading – and continuously improve procedures.
• Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts, reconciliations and audit controls.
• Plan warehouse capacity, layout and material flow while ensuring safety, hygiene and security standards.
• Build and maintain relationships with suppliers, logistics partners and service providers, negotiating contracts and monitoring performance against KPIs.
• Resolve supplier issues, delays and quality problems to ensure timely order fulfillment.

Required profile

• Proven experience in logistics, transportation or warehouse management, preferably in an agricultural export environment.
• Strong knowledge of customs procedures, export documentation and international trade regulations.
• Excellent negotiation and contract management abilities.
• Attention to detail and ability to monitor performance metrics.
• Leadership skills to manage a logistics team and coordinate with internal departments.
