About the role
The URRI Partnerships and Programme Implementation Coordinator will join the Danish Refugee Council team in Uganda to support the Uganda Refugee Resilience Initiative (URRI). The role focuses on strengthening climate‑resilience actions for refugee and host communities.
Key responsibilities
- Provide technical capacity support to all URRI partners, including consortium members, district authorities and local government.
- Coordinate partnership activities to ensure alignment with URRI objectives and local priorities.
- Monitor and ensure timely implementation of programme activities across the project area.
- Facilitate communication and collaboration among identified key stakeholders.
Required profile
- Highly qualified and motivated individual with experience in programme implementation and partnership coordination.
- Familiarity with climate‑resilience initiatives in refugee‑hosting contexts.
- Ability to work with diverse partners, including government and NGOs.
