About the role
The People & Performance Coordinator will support Restless Development Uganda’s mission to empower young leaders across multiple regions. This role focuses on coordinating HR and performance functions while ensuring safeguarding standards are upheld.
Key responsibilities
- Coordinate the Uganda Youth Collective and support over 600 youth‑led organisations.
- Implement and monitor the youth employment portfolio across 13 districts.
- Ensure compliance with the organisation’s safeguarding policy for children, young people and vulnerable adults.
- Facilitate power‑shifting practices internally and externally.
- Support HR processes, performance management and capacity‑building for youth‑led organisations.
Required profile
- Commitment to safeguarding and protecting vulnerable groups.
- Experience working with youth‑led organisations or community‑based programmes.
- Ability to coordinate multi‑stakeholder initiatives across diverse regions.
