Sales and Marketing Associate

About the role

The Sales and Marketing Associate will work on‑site in Kampala supporting an insurance agency’s growth. You will help design and execute sales and marketing campaigns, engage prospects, and nurture existing client relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Identify leads, present agency services and prepare proposals.
• Communicate with prospective and existing clients, coordinate meetings and follow up on inquiries to drive conversions.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to implement promotional activities, gather market insights and track campaign performance.
• Create sales materials, participate in training sessions and represent the agency at events and client engagements.

Required profile

• Strong communication and customer‑service abilities.
• Sales and marketing knowledge, including basic digital marketing, social media and brand promotion concepts.
• Good organizational and time‑management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Comfortable working on‑site in Kampala and collaborating with cross‑functional teams.
• Diploma or degree in Marketing, Business, Communications or a related field preferred; prior sales or agency experience is an advantage.
