Sales Executive – Insurance Agency

About the role

The Insurance Agency is seeking a proactive Sales Executive to drive new business and expand our client base in Kampala. You will work on‑site, collaborating with cross‑functional teams to deliver tailored insurance solutions to decision‑makers.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the insurance market.
• Build and manage a pipeline of prospective clients through calls, emails and face‑to‑face meetings.
• Prepare and deliver compelling sales proposals and presentations.
• Negotiate terms that align with client needs and agency capabilities.
• Maintain strong relationships with existing clients and ensure smooth onboarding with account and creative teams.
• Track performance against sales targets and report on key metrics.
• Stay informed about market trends and competitor offerings to refine sales strategies.

Required profile

• Demonstrated ability in sales, business development or account management within advertising, marketing or related services.
• Strong communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
• Basic understanding of marketing and advertising concepts.
• Ability to work on‑site in Kampala and adapt quickly in a fast‑paced environment.
• Relevant diploma or degree in Business, Marketing, Communications or equivalent experience.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CRM or sales tracking tools.
