Solution & IT Product Manager

About the role

Huawei Uganda is seeking a Solution & IT Product Manager to align technical solutions with market needs, drive sales growth, and enhance customer engagement. The role focuses on carrier‑IT offerings such as cloud, AI, storage, big data, and SaaS solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Drive solution sales and marketing for carrier‑IT products including Cloud, AI, Storage, Big Data, Data Warehouse, IaaS, PaaS and SaaS.
• Collaborate with sales and account teams to craft value propositions and customer‑facing messaging.
• Create and maintain sales tools such as presentations, proposals, and competitive battle cards.
• Lead customer workshops, demos, and proof‑of‑concept engagements.
• Analyse market trends, customer needs and competitor activity to shape solution packaging and positioning.
• Work cross‑functionally with R&D, delivery and frontline teams to align product capabilities with demand.
• Support proposal development, RFP responses and participation in trade shows and industry events.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 3+ years of experience in enterprise/telco IT.
• Strong background with cloud platforms and IT infrastructure.
• Experience in telecom or enterprise AI/ML use cases.
• Understanding of delivery models, product strategy and go‑to‑market execution.
