Senior Analyst – Distribution & Channels

About the role

The Senior Analyst – Distribution & Channels will support the Senior Manager in driving performance, liquidity and operational excellence across MTN's mobile money distribution network in Uganda.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain daily, weekly and ad‑hoc reports on channel performance, cash‑in/out, P2P, rebalancing and agent activity.
• Analyse agent performance by region, transaction value and liquidity support, recommending actions to grow active agents.
• Track liquidity channels (Dealers, Super Agents, Banks, Rebalancers) and identify gaps in float availability.
• Prepare management insights, risk alerts and executive updates for commercial leadership.
• Collaborate with Business Intelligence to automate dashboards and improve data quality.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Economics, Statistics, Finance, IT, Data Analytics or related field.
• 3–5 years experience in Mobile Money, Fintech, Telecom or FMCG distribution, with proven channel reporting and liquidity management.
• Experience working with regional teams, dealers, super agents, banks and other distribution partners.
