Technical Solar Sales Representative

About the role

The Technical Solar Sales Representative will drive growth of Chloride's solar PV solutions across the country. You will identify new business opportunities, design tailored renewable‑energy packages, and build lasting client relationships to expand our market presence.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with management to create and execute sales strategies for new and existing markets.
• Generate and nurture a pipeline of leads through networking, cold calling, and industry events.
• Conduct client consultations to assess energy needs and propose appropriate solar solutions.
• Prepare detailed proposals, negotiate terms, and coordinate with installation teams for seamless project delivery.
• Monitor sales performance, report to management, and refine tactics based on market feedback.

Required profile

• BSc in Electrical & Electronics, Renewable Energy, Energy Engineering, or Business Administration.
• Minimum 3 years of experience selling solar panels, batteries, and inverters.
• Proven ability to achieve sales targets (e.g., Ushs 60 M per month).
• Strong communication, negotiation, and customer‑service skills.

Required skills

• In‑depth knowledge of solar PV systems, panels, batteries, and inverters.
• Familiarity with PVSystem, SWH, and PBS product ranges.
• Ability to translate technical specifications into clear client proposals.
