Branch Sales Agent – Customer Acquisition

About the role

The Branch Sales Agent will work from partner shops in Kampala, driving new customer acquisition for Majibu Africa’s financial products. You will convert walk‑in leads, follow up on daily leads and ensure a smooth application process, while delivering an excellent customer experience.

Key responsibilities

• Convert walk‑in clients and daily leads into sales by presenting product benefits and handling objections.
• Guide customers through the application process, ensuring all documentation is accurate and complete.
• Maintain professional relationships with customers, identify repeat buyers and promote relevant offers.
• Represent Majibu Africa within partner shops, building strong ties with shop staff and acting as a liaison for feedback.
• Execute local marketing activities in partner shops to raise product awareness.
• Provide post‑sale support, ensuring customers receive assistance after purchase.
• Achieve defined sales targets and key performance indicators.

Required profile

• Entry‑level candidates with up to 2 years of sales experience.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently in a retail environment.
• Attention to detail in handling client documentation.
• Basic numeracy and ability to explain financial products clearly.
