Business Development Manager – Plastic Manufacturing

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Business Development Manager to drive growth for our plastic manufacturing business. The role focuses on identifying new opportunities, building client relationships, and promoting our range of plastic products to increase sales and market presence.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities within target markets.
• Promote and sell plastic products to wholesalers, retailers, and industrial clients.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers.
• Conduct market research to identify industry trends and customer needs.
• Prepare and deliver product presentations and proposals.
• Follow up on leads, inquiries, and quotations to convert them into sales.
• Collaborate with production and operations teams to ensure timely product delivery.
• Maintain accurate records of sales activities and client interactions.
• Prepare regular sales and business development reports for management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in sales or business development, preferably in manufacturing or plastics.
• Strong communication, negotiation and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to identify opportunities and close sales.
• Good organizational and time‑management skills.
