Sales & Marketing Representative – Insurance Agency

About the role

This full-time, on-site position in Kampala focuses on driving new business and nurturing client relationships for an insurance agency. You will combine sales and marketing activities to meet revenue targets and enhance brand visibility.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities.
• Meet with prospective and existing clients to explain agency services.
• Prepare proposals and follow up to close sales.
• Support marketing campaigns and gather customer feedback.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure high‑quality service delivery.
• Participate in trainings and stay informed about market trends.
• Contribute to promotional activities and brand visibility initiatives.

Required profile

• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Customer service ability to manage inquiries and maintain long‑term relationships.
• Proven sales capability – prospecting, negotiating, and closing deals.
• Experience or willingness to deliver trainings related to products and services.
• Basic understanding of advertising and marketing concepts; agency or sales experience is a plus.
• Ability to work on‑site in Kampala, manage time effectively, and handle multiple client accounts.
• Diploma or degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field preferred.
