About the role

Axel Uganda Limited is seeking a motivated Clinical Officer to join its hospital team in Kamwokya, Kampala. The role focuses on delivering high‑quality patient care while supporting the overall health service operations.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose, treat and manage patients across a range of medical conditions.
• Provide health education and counseling to patients and their families.
• Participate in research activities and continuous professional development.
• Prepare and submit clinical and administrative reports.
• Plan and budget for health service activities within the hospital.
• Oversee the functioning of health information management systems.
• Coordinate procurement of equipment, medicines and other supplies.
• Enforce professional conduct, service codes and ethical standards.

Required profile

• Entry‑level qualification in a relevant health discipline.
• Up to 12 months of experience in a clinical or hospital setting.
• Strong commitment to patient care and ethical practice.

Required skills

• Knowledge of health information management systems.
