Consultant - Human Demography/Epidemiology

About the role
CIFOR is seeking a consultant specialized in human demography and epidemiology to join its team in Kampala. The position is a full‑time consultancy that will support research and data‑analysis activities within the centre. CIFOR seeks expressions of interest from qualified consultancy candidates in the above specialization.
Required profile
- Holds a relevant university degree (e.g., demography, epidemiology, public health or related fields).
- Demonstrates fluent spoken and written English.
- Proficiency in one or more additional international languages is an advantage.
- Experience working in multicultural teams.
- Experience working in multidisciplinary teams.
- Experience in non‑profit organisations.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration.
- Values the sharing of information in a cooperative atmosphere.
- Committed to continuous improvement through constructive evaluation and learning.
