Corporate Sales Specialist – International Trade Finance

About the role

SVG VENTURES PROJECT MANAGEMENT SERVICES LLC is seeking a full‑time Corporate Sales Specialist to join its Kampala office. The role focuses on selling international trade finance solutions to corporate clients, helping them manage cross‑border transactions and optimise cash flow.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and prospect new corporate clients for trade finance products.
• Build and maintain relationships with key decision‑makers and present tailored financing solutions.
• Conduct client meetings, prepare proposals, negotiate terms and ensure timely delivery of services.
• Collaborate with internal project‑management and finance teams to structure financing arrangements.
• Monitor market trends, maintain a robust sales pipeline and achieve defined revenue targets.
• Represent SVG VENTURES at networking events and industry engagements to enhance brand visibility.

Required profile

• Proven experience in corporate sales, business development or account management, preferably within financial services or trade finance.
• Strong client‑relationship skills with the ability to explain complex financial concepts clearly.
• Results‑oriented mindset with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics or a related field is preferred.
• Willingness to work on‑site in Kampala and engage with diverse stakeholders.

Required skills

• Knowledge of trade finance instruments such as letters of credit, guarantees and financing facilities.
• Excellent negotiation, presentation and written/verbal communication abilities.
• Effective organisational and time‑management capabilities.
