Country Sales Manager

About the role

The Country Sales Manager will be the primary commercial leader for BrighterMonday Consulting in Uganda, overseeing sales, account management and customer support under a single role. Reporting to the Head of Commercialization, the manager is responsible for driving market growth, customer acquisition and retention across the education sector.

Key responsibilities

• Drive new business development and achieve sales quota, targeting new school acquisitions and strategic partnerships.
• Lead account management to ensure ≥97% retention, manage renewals, upsell and maintain high NPS.
• Oversee customer support operations, meet SLA targets, maintain high first‑contact resolution and CSAT scores.
• Manage the local team, monitor KPIs, report to senior leadership and control budget compliance.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in sales, account management or customer success, preferably within the education sector.
• Proven track record of meeting sales targets and retention goals.
• Ability to negotiate with large school networks, government bodies and strategic partners.
• Strong leadership and operational oversight skills.
