About the role
We are looking for a Credit Officer to join our team in Kampala. The role involves evaluating loan applications, conducting credit appraisals, and managing a diverse loan portfolio. You will work closely with clients across logbook, business, civil servant, and LPO financing. The role offers an opportunity to develop expertise in diverse lending products.
Key responsibilities
- Evaluate and process loan applications for logbook, business, civil servant, and LPO financing.
- Conduct credit appraisal and due diligence to assess repayment capacity, borrowing risk, and collateral.
- Manage the loan portfolio through disbursement, customer follow‑up, repayment monitoring, and recovery of overdue loans.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
- Experience in logbook loans, business loans, civil servant loans, LPO financing, or similar lending products.
- At least 2 years of experience in credit or lending.
