Credit Specialist – Kampala, Uganda

About the role

Zoomlion is seeking a motivated Credit Specialist to join its finance team in Kampala. The role focuses on assessing customer creditworthiness, managing credit risk, and supporting effective receivables management to protect the company’s financial interests.

Key responsibilities

• Assess credit applications and determine customer creditworthiness.
• Conduct financial analysis and verify customer information.
• Establish and monitor customer credit limits.
• Follow up on outstanding accounts and ensure timely debt collection.
• Prepare aging reports and recommend actions for overdue accounts.
• Collaborate with Sales and Finance teams to resolve credit‑related issues.
• Ensure compliance with company credit policies and procedures.
• Prepare periodic credit risk and receivables reports for management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics or related field.
• 1–5 years of experience in credit management, credit analysis, accounts receivable, banking or a similar finance role.
• Strong analytical and financial reporting abilities.
• High level of integrity, attention to detail and problem‑solving capability.
