Customer Service Associate – Grand Market

About the role

Join the Grand Market team as a Customer Service Associate, where you will be the first point of contact for shoppers and help create a welcoming, efficient checkout experience. You will handle inquiries, process transactions, and keep the front‑end area tidy and well‑stocked.

Key responsibilities

• Greet customers as they enter the store and answer questions about products, promotions, and pricing.
• Operate the POS register, scanner, scale, and printers to process cash, checks, credit cards, WIC, gift certificates, rainchecks, voids, and coupons.
• Maintain accurate cash handling procedures and ensure the cash drawer variance stays within acceptable limits.
• Apply store policies for tobacco sales and over‑the‑counter drugs.
• Keep the checkout area clean, safe, and well‑organized; stock shelves and rotate products as needed.
• Assist with vendor check‑in and follow all store program, weekly special, and coupon guidelines.
