Direct Sales Executive – Nakawa (Kampala)

About the role

The Direct Sales Executive – Nakawa will be based in Kampala and will focus on promoting the company’s international trade finance and insurance solutions. This full‑time, on‑site position involves engaging prospective clients, presenting product offerings and driving sales within the assigned territory.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, approach and qualify prospective clients in the Nakawa area.
• Present and explain trade finance, banking and insurance products to decision‑makers.
• Negotiate terms and close sales, meeting or exceeding targets.
• Maintain strong relationships with existing customers, handling inquiries and providing ongoing support.
• Collaborate with internal teams to process applications and ensure timely delivery of services.
• Prepare basic sales reports and track lead progress.

Required profile

• Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
• Proven sales experience, preferably in direct or door‑to‑door environments.
• Basic understanding of finance, banking or trade finance concepts.
• Familiarity with insurance products related to trade or credit risk.
• Ability to work independently and achieve targets.
• Knowledge of the Kampala market is an advantage.
• Certificate, diploma or degree in Business, Finance, Marketing or a related field.
