Dispatch Clerk (Warehouse & Logistics)

About the role

We are looking for a diligent Dispatch Clerk to manage the issuing of tiles and sanitary ware from our warehouse in Nakaseke/Kapeeka. The role ensures that all stock is picked, packed and dispatched accurately, while maintaining up‑to‑date records and minimizing product damage.

Key responsibilities

• Receive and verify approved stock requests, picking lists and delivery orders.
• Pick and issue the correct product codes, descriptions, quantities and specifications.
• Handle tiles and sanitary ware carefully to avoid breakage, chip or crack.
• Pack, secure and prepare items for loading, reporting any damaged or defective products.
• Record all issued stock promptly and reconcile quantities with documentation.
• Report shortages, discrepancies and support regular inventory counts.
• Coordinate with documentation, receiving, transport and other departments to ensure complete paperwork before dispatch.
• Follow warehouse safety procedures, use required PPE and maintain a tidy issuing area.

Required profile

• Certificate or Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Warehouse Operations or related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in warehouse operations, stock issuing or inventory control.
• Experience handling tiles, sanitary ware or other building materials is an advantage.
• Strong attention to detail, good numerical ability and accountability.
• Ability to work in a physically demanding warehouse environment and collaborate with a team.
