Distribution Supervisor

About the role

The Distribution Supervisor is responsible for implementing AB InBev safety standards and overseeing all distribution operations. This includes delivery planning, truck scheduling, and ensuring timely dispatch of goods to meet customer service targets while driving profitability.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise delivery planning, truck scheduling, and dispatch to optimise fleet utilisation and meet service level agreements.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental standards, driver working‑hour regulations and site housekeeping.
• Maintain 5S standards, cascade global policies, and validate SOPs using tools such as 5Why, PDCA and RACI.
• Manage inventory rotation, daily stock counts, and control breakages and losses.
• Monitor cost control metrics including fuel usage, driver overtime, and third‑party invoice reconciliation.
• Lead people management activities: goal alignment, monthly one‑on‑ones, leave administration, disciplinary processes and talent recruitment.

Required profile

• Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience managing financial performance in FMCG or beverage industry.
• Strong numerical capability, results orientation and ability to work under pressure.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with good interpersonal skills.

Required skills

• High level of computer literacy – MS Office suite.
• Proficiency in SAP.
• Experience with Microsoft Teams or similar collaboration tools.
