Field Manager – Insurance Sales & Compliance

About the role

We are looking for a dynamic Field Manager to lead a network of team leaders and field sales agents in Uganda. The role combines commercial delivery with responsibility for sales quality, compliance and fraud control in a commission‑driven distribution model.

Key responsibilities

• Recruit, onboard and retain team leaders and field agents across the assigned region.
• Provide product, sales and compliance training and maintain up‑to‑date agent records.
• Coach agents through field accompaniment, feedback and performance improvement plans.
• Achieve and exceed regional targets for customer acquisition, active policies and premium collection.
• Plan territory coverage, deploy agents and monitor daily/weekly performance.
• Identify high‑potential selling locations and negotiate necessary permissions.
• Ensure every sale complies with eligibility, clear communication and underwriting insurer disclosure.
• Monitor early‑lapse, mis‑sale and complaint indicators and act on fraud suspicions.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading sales teams in a field‑based environment.
• Strong understanding of insurance products, compliance and fraud prevention.
• Ability to analyse performance data and make rapid deployment decisions.
• Excellent coaching and communication skills.
• Willingness to travel extensively across the region.
