About the role
The Finance & Admin Officer will support the CCCD program in Arua by handling financial administration, procurement and record‑keeping tasks. Reporting to the Lead Program Coordinator and under the technical supervision of the Finance Manager, the role ensures accurate financial operations and compliance with statutory requirements.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare online payment vouchers and weekly payment lists, and process invoices in the financial system.
- Upload financial documents, balance accounts and mark paid transactions with a “PAID” stamp.
- Maintain an up‑to‑date supplier database, source quotations, prepare purchase requests and facilitate bid evaluations.
- Coordinate timely acquisition of goods and services in line with ZOA procurement policies.
- Support contract management, monitor supplier performance and ensure proper filing of procurement documentation.
- Assist program teams with grants and program financial management, ensuring compliance with legal and statutory obligations.
Required profile
- Experience in finance administration and procurement within an NGO or similar environment.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
- Knowledge of statutory and legal financial obligations in Uganda.
- Full‑time availability for a six‑month renewable contract starting July 2026.
