Finance Manager

About the role

The Finance Manager will ensure timely and accurate financial reporting and provide oversight of expenditures and revenue to fully support the operations of the Association. Reporting to the CEO, the role combines strategic financial planning with day‑to‑day financial management.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and maintain robust financial systems and the fixed‑asset register.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting and financial planning processes, producing month‑end reports, management accounts and cash‑flow statements.
• Control all accounting matters, including statutory accounts, tax returns and compliance with local laws.
• Manage sales, receivables, inventory and bank accounts, monitoring cash‑flows and improving related procedures.
• Develop and enforce an internal‑controls framework and coordinate internal and external audits.
• Support the Association through periods of change, coordinating corporate finance, taxation and investment activities.
• Advise the CEO and senior management on financial performance and contribute to growth strategies.
• Ensure procurement compliance and provide leadership to the IT team, overseeing hardware, software and technology needs.

Required profile

• At least seven years of financial and administrative management experience, with a minimum of three years in a managerial role.
• Bachelor’s degree in commerce, finance or business administration and a professional accountancy qualification (CPA or ACCA).
• Proven ability to multitask, work under pressure and coordinate budgeting processes.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with accounting software.
• Advanced computer skills, including standard office packages (word processing, email and internet use).
