Financial Advisor (Commission Only)

About the role

ICEA LION Uganda is seeking a motivated Financial Advisor to provide personalized financial guidance to individuals and businesses. You will assess clients' current financial situations and develop long‑term plans covering insurance, pensions, and investments.

Key responsibilities

• Meet with clients to understand their financial goals and needs.
• Analyze financial data, prepare proposals and recommend suitable products.
• Monitor client portfolios, review performance and adjust plans as market conditions change.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure high‑quality service delivery.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of client interactions.

Required profile

• Fast learner with a sales or business background (optional).
• Basic knowledge of finance, investments and retirement planning.
• Strong analytical, numerical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build trust.
• Relevant academic background in Finance, Economics, Business or related field; professional certifications (e.g., COP) are a plus.
• Demonstrated integrity, ethical judgment and commitment to regulatory compliance.
