Financial Advisor – Insurance Sales Agent

About the role

ICEA LION Assurance is looking for a motivated Financial Advisor to join its sales team in Kampala. You will promote insurance products, identify new client opportunities, and deliver high‑quality service to help customers meet their financial goals.

Key responsibilities

• Prospect and identify potential clients through networking, referrals, and cold calling.
• Present ICEA LION insurance solutions tailored to client needs and financial objectives.
• Secure activations and organize camps within various organisations.
• Build and maintain strong, trust‑based relationships with clients.
• Assist clients with application completion and documentation.
• Follow up on policy renewals and address service inquiries.
• Achieve or exceed sales targets and performance goals.
• Stay informed on industry trends, product updates, and market conditions.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Insurance or related field (preferred but not mandatory).
• Proven experience in sales, insurance or customer service is an advantage.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship‑building abilities.
• Self‑motivated, target‑driven and capable of working independently.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to handle client objections.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Experience using CRM tools.
