Financial Advisor

About the role

Prudential Uganda is hiring a full-time Financial Advisor based in Kampala, working in a hybrid arrangement with on-site work and some work-from-home flexibility. The advisor engages clients to understand their financial goals, assess their current situation and develop tailored plans for savings, investments, insurance and retirement.

Key responsibilities

• Meet existing and prospective clients and present Prudential's financial solutions
• Prepare and review financial proposals and follow up to ensure client satisfaction and retention
• Monitor market trends and product updates
• Maintain accurate client records and comply with regulatory and company policies
• Collaborate with colleagues, attend periodic training and contribute to sales targets and business growth

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Accounting or a related field preferred; professional certifications are an added advantage
• Prior experience in financial advisory, insurance, banking or sales is beneficial; early-career professionals will also be considered
• Strong communication, presentation and interpersonal skills, and high ethical standards
