Floor Manager – Retail Operations

About the role

The Floor Manager oversees daily operations on the sales floor, ensuring excellent customer service, efficient staff performance, and optimal product presentation. This role is pivotal in driving sales targets while maintaining a safe and organized environment.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily floor activities.
• Lead, motivate, and monitor sales attendants and floor staff.
• Deliver prompt, professional, and friendly service to customers.
• Handle customer complaints and resolve issues.
• Monitor stock levels and coordinate replenishment.
• Ensure products are properly displayed, priced, and organized.
• Conduct opening and closing procedures, including cash and stock checks.
• Track staff attendance, punctuality, and grooming standards.
• Prepare daily sales and operational reports.
• Implement sales promotions and achieve targets.
• Maintain cleanliness, safety, and organization of the premises.
• Enforce company policies, procedures, and health & safety standards.
• Assist in staff training and performance evaluations.
• Report operational issues and suggest improvements.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Marketing, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience supervising retail, supermarket, hospitality, or customer‑service teams.
• Experience in staff management is an advantage.
