Guest Arrival Expert (Valet)

About the role

The Guest Arrival Expert (Valet) creates the first and last impression for hotel guests in Kampala. You will guide visitors through arrival and departure, ensuring a smooth, memorable experience that reflects Marriott’s commitment to wonderful hospitality.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome guests upon arrival, assist with luggage, and provide valet parking services.
• Offer local area information, answer guest inquiries, and fulfill reasonable requests.
• Process operational tasks such as completing reports, handling guest requests, and coordinating with other hotel departments.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and professional work environment while on your feet for extended periods.
• Lift, carry, push, or pull objects up to 50 lb unaided and up to 75 lb with assistance.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• No prior experience required; on‑the‑job training provided.
• Valid Ugandan national driving licence.
• Ability to work full‑time, stand or walk for long periods, and handle physical tasks safely.
