About the role
Provide professional hair care services to guests at the Marriott spa, including cutting, designing, coloring, and styling. Ensure a welcoming and safe environment while promoting salon products.
Key responsibilities
- Perform hair cuts, designs, color treatments and styling for guests.
- Shampoo, condition, rinse and evaluate hair, skin or nails to determine appropriate services.
- Promote and sell spa/salon services and retail products.
- Set up and maintain a clean, sterilized workstation and treatment rooms.
- Monitor service schedules, handle inappropriate behavior and report safety issues.
Required profile
- Maintain current licensure in the service area.
- Provide excellent guest service, including assistance for individuals with disabilities.
- Adhere to company policies, uniform standards and confidentiality requirements.
- Ability to stand, sit or walk for extended periods and lift objects up to 10 lb.
Required skills
- Hair cutting, coloring and styling techniques.
- Sanitization and sterilization of salon tools.
- Product knowledge for recommending home‑care regimens.
