Hospitality Services Assistant

About the role

The Hospitality Services Assistant will ensure a welcoming, safe, and comfortable environment for both local and international guests at the Nations Prayer Mountain facility. Reporting to the Hospitality & Facilities Manager, you will supervise daily accommodation operations, housekeeping, and catering support.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise accommodation, room preparation, and guest facilities.
• Oversee housekeeping, cleaning, laundry, and sanitation standards.
• Support catering and food‑service operations.
• Welcome guests and deliver excellent customer service.
• Coordinate room bookings, allocations, and occupancy.
• Monitor hospitality supplies, inventories, budgets, and expenditures.
• Supervise housekeeping, cleaning, and catering support staff.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and peaceful environment for all guests.

Required profile

• Diploma or Associate’s Degree in Hospitality Management, Hotel Administration, Catering, Institutional Management or a related field.
• 2–3 years of experience supervising hospitality, accommodation, housekeeping or guest‑services teams.
• Knowledge of cleaning, laundry, food safety and basic facility management.
• Strong planning, organization, communication and customer‑service abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple responsibilities.
• Committed Christian with integrity, discretion, a servant’s heart and a commitment to excellence.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Word.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with basic booking/property management systems.
