About the role
The Uganda Heart Institute is looking for a Porter to provide logistical support in its catering unit. The role ensures the efficient movement of supplies and meals within the facility.
Key responsibilities
- Transport meals and supplies to various units and departments as required.
- Assist in loading and offloading catering supplies and equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in storage and transportation areas.
- Ensure safe handling of food and equipment during transport.
- Monitor and report shortages or damages to supplies to the Catering Officer.
- Support the setup of dining areas and events as needed.
- Follow safety and hygiene guidelines during handling and transportation tasks.
- Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor.
Required profile
- O-Level certificate.
- A certificate in any relevant field is an added advantage.
