About the role
The Uganda Heart Institute is looking for a waiter or waitress in Kampala to serve meals and beverages to patients, staff and visitors, providing excellent customer service and satisfaction.
Key responsibilities
- Serve meals and beverages to patients, staff and visitors in a courteous manner.
- Set up and clean dining areas before and after meal service.
- Ensure meal orders are accurate and delivered on time.
- Respond to inquiries and address complaints about meal service.
- Help keep dining areas clean and organised.
- Replenish supplies such as utensils, napkins and condiments.
- Report service or equipment issues to the Chef.
- Follow food safety and hygiene standards.
- Carry out other duties assigned by the supervisor.
Required profile
- O-Level certificate.
- A Certificate in Hospitality or Customer Service is an added advantage.
- At least 1 year of experience in food service or hospitality.
