HSE Staff – Health, Safety & Environment

About the role

The HSE Staff member will support the Health, Safety & Environment function at a mining services contractor. This role focuses on supervising safety practices, conducting inspections, and ensuring compliance with regulations in operational sites.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise the implementation of occupational health and safety (K3) and workplace environment in operational areas.
• Conduct regular safety inspections, patrols, and identify potential hazards.
• Ensure compliance with safety procedures and applicable regulations.
• Assist in incident investigations and follow‑up corrective actions.
• Prepare reports and documentation related to HSE activities.

Required profile

• Minimum education: D3/S1 in Occupational Safety (K3), Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience in HSE, preferably within the mining industry or a mining contractor.
• Strong understanding of K3 principles, safety regulations, and HSE management systems.
• Possession of an AK3 General certificate or other HSE certifications is a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and good analytical abilities.
• Willingness to work on‑site under a roster system.
