Information Communication Technology Teacher

About the role

The school is seeking a dedicated Information Communication Technology (ICT) Teacher to deliver engaging, practical lessons and develop learners' digital competencies across assigned levels.

Key responsibilities

• Teach ICT and Computer Studies to learners, delivering learner‑centred, hands‑on lessons.
• Plan and deliver practical ICT sessions, including training for ICDL modules and preparation for certification.
• Assess learners through classwork, practical exercises, projects, tests and examinations.
• Integrate technology and digital tools into everyday teaching and learning.
• Guide learners on responsible, safe and ethical use of technology and the internet.
• Maintain accurate records of learner progress and provide timely feedback.
• Support learners needing additional assistance to develop digital skills.
• Maintain and promote proper use and care of ICT equipment and computer laboratories.
• Report equipment faults, software issues and technical concerns to the relevant administrator.
• Participate in school ICT‑related activities, clubs, projects and digital initiatives.
• Attend staff meetings, professional development programmes, school events and other assigned duties.
• Uphold the school’s Christian values, safeguarding standards, code of conduct and professional expectations.

• Willingness to support extra‑curricular ICT activities and student clubs.

Required skills

• ICDL (International Computer Driving Licence) proficiency.
