Insurance Sales Agent – Hybrid Role in Uganda

About the role

We are looking for dynamic Insurance Sales Agents to join Prudential’s Uganda team. This full‑time hybrid position combines on‑site client interaction with flexible work‑from‑home days, focusing on helping individuals and families secure their financial future.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and prospect new clients across assigned territories.
• Explain Prudential’s insurance products and recommend suitable solutions.
• Conduct client meetings, prepare quotations and assist with application paperwork.
• Follow up on documentation to ensure smooth onboarding.
• Build and maintain a client portfolio while meeting sales targets.
• Provide ongoing policy servicing and customer support.
• Report regularly to supervisors and collaborate with colleagues.
• Participate in training sessions and attend in‑person meetings as required.

Required profile

• Strong sales, negotiation and customer relationship abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication in English and local languages.
• Basic financial literacy and understanding of insurance or financial services.
• Organisational and time‑management skills to handle multiple clients.
• Self‑motivated, goal‑oriented with high integrity.
• Diploma or degree in Business, Finance, Marketing or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Willingness to travel within Uganda and attend training.

Required skills

• Proficiency with email, Microsoft Office and mobile communication platforms.
