Kitchen Staff – Food Preparation & Service

About the role

Opaa! Food Management is seeking reliable Kitchen Staff to prepare breakfast and lunch, support catering events, and operate all positions within the kitchen. You will work in a fast‑paced cafeteria environment, ensuring food is served safely and attractively.

Key responsibilities

• Set up serving lines daily and maintain food at required temperatures.
• Prepare menu items according to Opaa! recipes, including baking breads, cakes, and cookies.
• Operate slicers, mixers, grinders and other kitchen equipment with proper certification.
• Maintain clean, organized work areas and follow FIFO inventory procedures.
• Record temperatures, complete HACCP logs, and adhere to HHFKA and CACFP regulations.
• Assist with catering functions and serve portions with appropriate utensils.
• Requisition food and supplies through the Kitchen Manager.

Required profile

• Ability to follow standardized recipes and food safety protocols.
• Strong attention to cleanliness and sanitation.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including occasional catering events.
• Team‑oriented attitude and commitment to Opaa!’s core values.

Required skills

• Operating slicers, mixers, grinders and similar kitchen equipment.
• Food safety compliance (HACCP, temperature monitoring).
• Inventory management using FIFO methodology.
• Baking basics for breads, cakes, and cookies.
