About the role

Join Opaa! Food Management as a Kitchen Staff member to prepare breakfast and lunch offerings, support serving lines, and assist with occasional catering events. You will work across all kitchen stations, ensuring food quality, safety, and presentation for students and community members.

Key responsibilities

• Set up and maintain serving lines, keeping food at required temperatures.
• Prepare menu items and baked goods according to Opaa! recipes and daily plans.
• Operate slicers, mixers, grinders, and other kitchen equipment with proper certification.
• Maintain clean, organized work areas and follow FIFO inventory practices.
• Record production data, temperature logs, and comply with HACCP, HHFKA, and CACFP regulations.
• Participate in safety programs, meetings, and required training sessions.

Required profile

• Ability to follow standardized recipes and food safety procedures.
• Willingness to work flexible shifts in a fast‑paced kitchen environment.

Required skills

• Food preparation and batch cooking
• Operation of slicers, mixers, grinders (certified)
