Kitchen Staff – Food Preparation & Service

About the role

Opaa! Food Management is seeking reliable Kitchen Staff to prepare breakfast and lunch offerings, support catering functions, and assist with all kitchen stations. You will work in a fast‑paced environment, ensuring food quality, safety, and appealing presentation for students and community members.

Key responsibilities

• Set up serving lines daily and maintain proper food temperatures.
• Prepare foods according to menu plans and Opaa! recipes, including baking breads, cakes, and cookies.
• Operate slicers, mixers, grinders, and other kitchen equipment with required certification.
• Maintain clean, organized work areas and follow FIFO inventory procedures.
• Record hot and cold food temperatures, complete HACCP logs, and adhere to HHFKA and CACFP regulations.
• Assist with catering events and serve items with correct portions and utensils.
