About the role

Opaa! Food Management is seeking reliable Kitchen Staff to prepare breakfast and lunch offerings, support serving lines, and assist with occasional catering events. The role involves performing all positions within the kitchen and ensuring food quality and safety.

Key responsibilities

• Set up serving lines daily and maintain proper food temperatures.
• Prepare foods according to menu plans and Opaa! recipes, including baking bread, cakes, and cookies.
• Operate slicers, mixers, grinders, and other kitchen equipment with required certification.
• Maintain clean, organized work areas and follow FIFO inventory procedures.
• Monitor and record hot and cold food temperatures, complete HACCP logs, and comply with HHFKA and CACFP regulations.
• Assist with catering functions, batch cooking, and serving portions with appropriate utensils.
• Requisition food and supplies through the Kitchen Manager and handle dishwashing equipment safely.

Required profile

• Ability to follow standardized recipes and food safety procedures.
• Willingness to work in a fast‑paced kitchen environment.

Required skills

• Slicer, mixer, and grinder operation (certified).
• Food safety compliance (HACCP, temperature monitoring).
• FIFO inventory management.
