Land and Forest Tenure Reforms Consultant

About the role
CIFOR is seeking qualified consultants to support land and forest tenure reform initiatives in Uganda. The consultant will provide expert advice, conduct analyses, and assist in policy development while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams. The role involves research, capacity building, and designing reform strategies in close partnership with local stakeholders and international partners.
Required profile
- Degree in a relevant field such as agriculture, environmental science, law, or related discipline.
- Fluent spoken and written English.
- Proficiency in an additional international language is an advantage.
- Experience working in multicultural, multidisciplinary teams, preferably within a non‑profit organization.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Commitment to knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.
- Ability to produce high‑quality reports and presentations.
