Life Insurance Agent (Hybrid) – Kampala

About the role

Prudential Uganda is seeking a full‑time Life Insurance Agent to join its Kampala office. The position operates on a hybrid model, combining client‑facing activities in the office with remote work. You will help individuals and families protect their financial future by recommending appropriate life insurance and savings solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and prospect potential clients in the Kampala market.
• Conduct client meetings, assess financial needs and propose suitable life insurance products.
• Prepare, present and follow up on proposals until policy issuance.
• Maintain ongoing relationships with policyholders, handling inquiries, renewals and policy changes.
• Collaborate with the Prudential Uganda team to achieve sales targets and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.

Required profile

• Strong background in insurance sales or brokerage with a proven ability to generate new business.
• Good understanding of life insurance products, financial planning, budgeting and risk management concepts.
• Excellent customer service orientation and communication skills.
• Relevant academic background in business, finance, marketing or a related field is an advantage.
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment and adhere to ethical and compliance standards.
