Management Services Assistant – Fleet (SC5)

About the role

The Management Services Assistant (Fleet) supports WFP Uganda’s programme delivery by providing high‑quality, customer‑focused administrative services for the country’s fleet and car‑pooling operations. This full‑time position ensures that the fifth‑largest global WFP fleet runs safely, efficiently, and in full compliance with UN standards.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate daily fleet and car‑pooling activities for WFP and partner UN agencies.
• Maintain accurate, real‑time records of vehicle usage, maintenance, and compliance documentation.
• Support decision‑making by providing timely data on fleet performance and availability.
• Ensure strict adherence to safety, security, and procurement regulations.
• Liaise with internal units and external service providers to resolve operational issues.
• Prepare regular reports on fleet utilisation, cost‑effectiveness, and service quality.

Required profile

• Full‑time commitment to manage the fleet and car‑pooling function.
• Experience in fleet or logistics administration, preferably within an international or UN context.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to work under operational pressure.
• Attention to detail for record‑keeping and compliance oversight.
• Effective communication skills for coordination with multiple stakeholders.
